Hi im a big killzone fan and when i saw the karskins imps i wanted to combine the two together
and came up with this result liberation became the bases for the tank conversion and killzone 2
for the snipers for witch i used the first born models.

well time for some pictures

The Chimera is really quite nice. I, myself, take a lot of inspiration from the Helghast in some of my minis so it's great to see others do the same

Ok here are the helghast heavy gunners made from tau stealt suits.
i cut of the heads and turned it upside down so the hole for the targeting system would face up but i did not put it in, instead i used GS to model a head on witch i placed a couple of plastic rods cut to a shape to make the new targeting system ( see painted model).

I really like the conversions. I havent actually played the game but I do like how the troops look. Overall you have some great work here

A Baneblade with jet engines, awesome.
I like the snipers alot as well, the eyes give a good contrast.

the eyes even give a scary clow in the dark effect.

the baneblade(helghast tank) is general metrac`s personel tank (see intro movie killzone liberation).

OH MY GOD!!! I was like having the same idea but you beat me there. They are awesomely painted and made, they are very accurate and just fill the gap in my head.

I love them all so VERY MUCH. The eyes have a very dark and scary look to them. The only problem I have is with the flag, the paint looks very thick.

cool look. what did you use for the power armored guys? are they ogryn in your army? i think i see some at-43 power armor bits as well as tau.

I was going to say, they look like they'd be good counts-as Ogryns. I like the glow effect on the eyes, it stands out nicely in the photos!

Thats not paint its green stuff i resculpted the inside of the flag.

@theocd yep and if you look at the intro of KILLZONE LIBERATION at the end when the camera makes a zoom in close up shot of general matrac MATRAC looks a lot like DATA from STARTREK.

and no those bits are SM belt bits and GS.

@ cheese elemental for the eyes i used valejo flouresend paint. if you want to use GW paint simple add gloss varnis to bad moon yellow and fiery orange.
that will get an even result.

I played Killzone 1 and loved it - just don't have a PS3 so I've never played the sequel. What are the heavy gunner/stealthsuits counting as? Heavy weapons teams? Would you factor in the second wound in with their armor?

Very cool conversions and some pretty decent paintjobs!

Thanks i know ther all dark color scheme and it makes a difficult paint job keeping it dark so i focused more on the eyes than on the rest of the models and keep it simple.( brown /grey hilights).

the heavy gunner/stealth suits count as OGRYNS.
