Here are some more pics. like i sai i am trying to keep it simple incase i want to mass produce. i still havent decided on a cannon yet and i sanded down some of the turret to bring it lower. Please leave comments and feedback so i can work on improving it.

Yep its a 1/48 hobby boss kv-2 turret. I used almost all GW parts and some plasticard too, except for the turret. I wanted it to be as tournament legal as possible. Heres my update.

Does it get side sponsons? What does it do in "game terms"? Got some rules in mind? or does it "count as" something else?

well i am still working on the sides, but no sponsons, i have never been a fan of them cause they make the tanks in 40k look to goofy, so i dont build any sponsons. Its gonna be a Ragnarok Tank for my IG but the rules will play out like a leman russ unless GW ever gets off its but and finally makes a cool new tank that you dont have to order from forgeworld lol

now i've seen it with the gun on the turret this is a fantastic peice of work man. Very well done
