Hi everybody

Been browsing this site for some time now and got addicted to =I= Munda
migsula, xan, modhail, tael and all you other =I= munda guys... GREAT WORK!! and THANKS for the inspiration

so now its my turn to start my little gang

i'm going for a rouge trader crew...
not quite sure what miniature the leader will be, but there will be some xeno guys (probably tau and kroot), a gunslinger (gideon lorr model), a void-suit guy, a sniper/spec-ops guy (cadian/sm-scout parts) and a heavy (not sure 'bout him either)

if you wan't to start a base for your =I= munda Force check the GW site under necromunda and inquisition in specialist games, or ebay... you can usally by the Older models (Pre 2000) on ebay and for cheap.


I personally like The redemptionist gang and the cawdor house.

Hmm, I'm curious how you are going to do the xenos. What about trying to come up with one of your own? Most xenos in =I=munda already seem to be Kroot and Tau, makes you wonder how many Tau have left their Greater Good to join Inquisitors, Rogue Traders, etc.

Why not let the void born character (with a chunky suit of armour) also be the heavy? Might be very fitting?

Maybe include another void born as a crew members or something?

a new typ of xeno seems challenging... but malika made a point there currently i'm thinking about some bird like guy... something like "captain kid" from "the adventures of the galaxy rangers" if anybody remembers that 80s cartoon...

Finally some updates here... haven't done much lately because of a lack of time... but here is my littel "birdman"

didn't turn out to "birdish" ... more like some kind of raptor/man hybrid... maybe i add a tail...

he's quite bulky und heavily equipped with all kind of stuff

the inspiration came from tael's frell character... so big thanks to him

Hehe, that's exactly the first thing that came to my mind, too: Dark Crystal. Novel use of bitz, konf. You've done a pretty good job at creating a new and unique xenos.

Very nice! I really like the birdman but my fave has to be the gunslinger, as in all things, the dude with the hat and awesome gun is the coolest. All you need as proof of this is Hellsing and Devil May Cry..Need I say more?

as for the birdman parts... his upper body is a space marine torso (back part of sm torso is glued to the legs) where I filed the tubing part down (i still need to make a round shape with greenstuff on my model)... the legs are catachan... feet, head and the armor plates are from the Kroot sprue... arms are from the cadian command box... the rest are pare parts from different sm sprues...
I used space marine pouches to hide the spaces between the legs and the torso as i was to lazy to fill them with greenstuff... but it turned out to look really good and gave him his bulky appearance

I hope I'm able to start painting my minis soon... but that depends on the weather

Wow nice work, I have recently become addicted to the modeling in the =][=Munda threads. I really love your Birdman, it reminds me of the Dark Cyrstal as well as the aliens from the beginning of the Fifth Element, nice work...

I too like the bird guy - the parts seem to fit together really well. Well chosen bitz is the key to conversion - nothing seems awkward or wrong scale.

To much work an other stuff kept me from continuing my little project... but finally i got 2 weeks of vacation...
so after quite a while I managed to paint my first ganger

As always comments and critics are very welcome... I'm not as skilled as many ohers here... so I'm looking forward to some tips

This Kroot is a silent killer, hiding in the shadows and waiting for his prey to make a mistake... he has seen - and survived - many battles against a space marine force invading his homeworld... in one of these battles he aquired the scout armor he's wearing... after the war he left his homeworld to sell his skills to the highest bidder...

ok this story needs a little more detail... but i wanted to give you a little background story
