I purchased the GW Lootas/Burnas set recently, and I was pretty disappointed to find that the kit did not include enough units to actually field a lootas squad. But, it did come with Mek bitz, and I've been wanting a KFF for my crew, so I bodged one together. I'm pretty happy with the results, and since I get most of my inspiration by seeing what other people have done here, I wanted to share.

I'm not thrilled with the paint job on the dish portion, but I like the whole thing in general. I like the TV antenna concept. It's made from sprue and paper clip wire. The crazy large pack, that's made from three burna packs, guitar strings and other bits. Arms are from the Nob kit. Dish is from a cut up cat toy, and the ball is from my kid's Hungry Hungry Hippo set. =)

I magnetized it together, so it come apart into three bits. Mek, pack, and the antenna:

Alrighty, I don't even play orks, but that thing, sir, is AWESOME! The ol' TV Antennae look
definitely pulls it all together. Great job!

Thanks for the kind comments!

Funny thing is that right now it won't stand on it's own. Keeps falling over. I have a mag in the base, so it'll stand on metal objects. I need to throw some weights in the bottom.

Since the dish is mag'd on, it'll rotate too. =)
