The 'ard boys seems to be about kill points and holding onto some objectives (so if you can get more objectives and not die then you win).
Also, I don't know if anyone considered but with the new faq for eldar, ordnance/barrage weapons touching harlequins are subject to viel of tears so if i have harlequins walking up while touching wraithguard then the wraithguard are invariably protected by viel of tears from blast weapons such as battle cannons and so on!)

So, I was thinking that a wraithzilla list would work well:

HQ:365

Eldrad:210 (fortune both wraithguard squads and doom/mindwar where appropriate)

Avatar:155 (great addition to wraithzilla and good terminator insurance, being hit on 5+ is a huge blessing-even carnifex hits on 5+!)

Elites:592

8 harlequins, shadowseer, 8 kisses=206 (advance with wraithguard to counter-assault)

8 harlequins, shadowseer, 8 kisses=206 ...

8 scorpions, exarch, claw, infiltrate/move through cover=180 (infiltrate and protect rangers or infiltrate and contest whatever is better)

Troops:1076

10 wraithguard, spiritseer, spear, enhance=399 (advance towards enemy objectives to hold/contest)

10 wraithguard, spiritseer, spear, conceal=399 (advance towards enemy objectives to hold/contest)

5 rangers=95 (infiltrate on an objective and hold it)

5 rangers=95 (infiltrate on an objective and hold it)

4 jetbikes=88 (hold in reserves and use late game to snag or contest an objective)

Heavy Support:465

Wraithlord, EML/BL=155 (walk with wraithguard/avatar and shoot support or else run and get closer to enemy if assault is better)

Wraithlord, EML/BL=155 ...

Wraithlord, EML/BL=155 ...

2498 points

Looks pretty solid to me. If i were you I would make those rangers pathfinders instead. Maybe drop a jetbike?

The avatar might be better spent on another fortuning farseer to fortune your Avatar and maybe doom targets of opporotunity.

That would leave you some points for the pathfinder upgrade, or the beefing up of your Elites section.

I am confused, are you suggesting I drop the avatar for a farseer to fotune the avatar? Either way, after two ranger squads, I had 90 points left over and thought it would be better to just get a fast jetbike squad for late game objective grabs, after that I had 24 points left over wich was not enough for much of anything so I decided to just beef up the jetbike squad.

I could drop it down to 3 man and use the 24 points elsewhere which I might just do but the changes would be insignifficant given the whole list as it stands so I just left it as is =).

I thought having 5 scoring units even if 3 are fragile (the jetbikes would need special care and hiding and the rangers I would have no problem going to ground like heck in order to protect them on an objective-scorpions would be nearby too to help out from assaults)

I like the list. You'll be in trouble though if you run up against the Skulltaker.

Sorry, Typo, I meant your Wraithlords, or any squad that needed help really, like your rangers, or even your harqs.
It's just a suggestion though, the avatar would probably be just as good, but you need to fortune him.
Those 24 points could make 1 ranger squad a pathfinder squad. A big difference IMO.

I might make one squad pathfinders, either way I think for this army avatar is more useful than a farseer but thanks!

As far as skulltaker, he will have to be held up by fortuned harlequins =P.

My final list ended up with:

Avatar/Eldrad

8 scorpions

2X 9 harlequins

2 wraithguard squads, 1 had enhance, other conceal

2 pathfinder squads

3X wraithlords with EML/BL

I got first place having played 2 vulcan assault terminator armies and a vicious tank heavy IG army.

I was thinking for the semi-finals the thing that gave me the hardest time was tanks and I worry about nidzilla.

I was wondering if I should add in a squad of 3 warwalkers with brightlances move some poinst around and have my wraithlords to be just EML/sword?

About to eat your Avatar...

OMFG... do not put B. lances on warwalkers... what a waste of points.

If you really think you need some anti-tank I would get a full seer council w/ assorted powers (no spears) and stick them in a Wave serpent with nothing but stones and a sh. cannon. If you have problems against outflanking chimera platoons, these guys will be able to massacre them every time... it is a bit ridiculous to be honest; AV 10 never helped anyone against Warlock spam.

Multi-assault is the key to using Warlocks successfully BTW, but Eldrad is really going to bog the squad down lacking FoF and all. You can switch the Avatar out for Yriel since he would be more suited for an offensive list, or you can get a standard Fortune-seer so the Warlock squad can always be protected. Be extremely aware of small arms and null zone.

It disturbs me greatly that you just used the Lords name in vain.

Problem with taking the BL's off your Wraitlords and putting them on a single squad of walkers is that then your limiting the number of vehicles you can kill a turn. Your army is pretty solid but expect at least 2 Nidzilla players at Game Empire that round. They are gonna be tough for you at this point level because they'll be running 6 MC's w/around 80 smaller bugs and beasties. Not sure how you would counting this really based around your list. What models do you have that your not using?

Well, if I drop the pathfinders and change them into jetbikes I can still have the eml/bl on my wraithlords.

hhhmmmm.....How did those pathfinders do in your games last weekend? I'd think they make excellent objective holders that are extremely hard to root out assuming your not playing guard or marines w/whirlwinds or thunderfire cannons. Can't you keep the scouts and just downgrade them and take the weapons? Or maybe take one squad of scouts and one squad of bikes to use for contesting late game? Just make sure you hide them well.

My pathfinders died in horrible ways in some games but I was way too aggressive with them.

If I kept them back and hid them and so on they woulda been better but they didn't add anything a jetbike unit couldn't add or take away.
