Welcome to my <yet unnamed> IG painting blog!

Some people make a blog to show what hyper mods/painting they can do. I like them very much, but I just started modelling, so first I want to do an 1500p IG. I make this blog to see if people like what I do, and to get ideas to advance, so if you have any constructive critic, just say :-)

I want to do:
- A clean nice paintjob, what looks good when you watch over the battle, and they still look nice
when you watch it closely
- Basic, small modding
- Some scenery
- Urban/tech bases (if you have ideas or links to this I would be glad)
- Have a cool name for the army, and maybe for the officers
- HAVE FUN pinting and with my friend painting and drinking some beer while he does some dark angels

What I don't want to do:
- Golden Daemon paintings (maybe 250 years later :-)
- Über-modding (like an IG sentinel which was looted by orks, touched by chaos, and then the tyrannids make it a bio-weapon. Sounds fun, but not yet...)
- Faces. Someone wrote: dont make a face when you can't make a good face. I agree, so the face for me: two dots and a line. Maybe later...

p.s.: I'm from Hungary, so my english is a bit crappy, but say if you don't understand something :-)

Automatically Appended Next Post:
What I have now: A squad of lasguns (I just got the new codex, and for me it's less understandable, like the old one. I will look for good army lists, but until then: lasguns...)

I tried some "speed painting" instead painting one-by-one (the first ten was a nightmare, now I enjoy "mass" production)

I had some time while I was dead in COD 4 and I built this sniper from the plastic frame :-) I now the lines ar not straight enough, just built to have fun

I tried some scenery, nothing serious yet

Trys on bases:

Some paint trys:

Oh, and my much loved "workstation"

So feel free to make some critic :-)

Update: I was bored about black and orange, so I made some SM painting smaples. You could say it's wasting a tactical squad, but it's definetly FUN. And I didn't mention about my Clown Marines chapter - ok not serious...

Some minimal modding:

Some finished models with urban bases:
