Okay, so I want to delve into fantasy because a GW store opened up near me.

Anyway, I already have 2 boxes of 10 D. Elf Corsairs, so I figured that I should make a dark elf army. Anyone know how to make a really cheap ( $$ wise) yet effective army that is still good?

And preferably involves D. Elf Corsairs?

I know the cheap places to actually get the stuff, it's just knowing WHAT to get that eludes me. I'd love to make one of those indestructable lords though.

Dark Elf battalion?

Do a Noble's Black Ark force, based off the fluff. Those can be done fairly cheapish.

You'd use Corsairs as standard troops, Cold One Knights/Dark Riders as specials, and Reapers as rares.
Noble could be mounted up on somethin' nasty if you so chose.

Get a couple of the battalion boxes. That gives you 40 more corsairs, 10 knights, some spear and a couple units of rxb's. Pack in a dragon kit (hands down the best dragon going right now), mages, and a couple hydra's and you're sorted thematically and competitively. Use bits out of them to bang out a couple assassins and you're set.
