I have a very hard time coming up with my own ideas for conversions so I do what any proppa Deffskull would do. I looted the idea to use in my own army. So scrounging the internet I stumbled across a cybersquig. I just thought I would share my work (not my idea).

I'm not totally happy with the chain chopper arm, any suggestions?
I still have some finishing up to do as far as rivets and other little details.

I think it's awesome. I think the chain chopper arm looks just fine. Maybe you would be more happy with it if you bulked out the base of the chopper so it's a bit meatier.

Oh snap, that's a lovely conversion. I can almost see the Warboss walk besides it with a crude chain around its neck.

I love that dread. I was going to use the SM Dread to make and Ork dread but your build has inspired me to rip apart my sentinals and ruined crisis suits. Great work! Keep it up!

Yeah its a counts as deff dread armed with flamer and 2x DCCW (jaws count). I thought it would be cool to make it have a special rule that if it kills a unit in CC that he will run back to the boss for approval like a good little squig.

That looks top notch, and I'm excited to see it with some paint on it.

Thanks, that's one of the things I like to pride my self on. I don't have a creative bone in my body but I can copy like none other. I just couldn't resist this conversion. I have a Toof truck at my friends house where I leave my minis that is a rhino with 8 wheels from the truck kit I saw done by krooza on the waaagh. I'll try to get some pics of other conversions I have done/copied up a bit later.

i'm thinking of dismantling my tau force bits since its in bad shape and a few of these guys running around a renegade guard army might not be so out of place.

I too aren't so sure about the arms - personallly I'd go for the Tyranosaurus Rex look, with the massive jaw counting as 2 CCWs and the arms just holding flamers.

I'll see if I can work up a how too. I am currently getting my new house ready to move in so it might be a bit of a wait, but I do plan on making another.

The belly portion where the cables come out is the sentinel driver compartment. I flipped it upside down, there are some pretty large gaps but nothing a few orky bits cant fill.

The back is the crisis suit back pack portion super glued on top of the belly.

The neck is made from the crisis suit arms. Two of the upper arm portions and one lower portion that I cut off to turn it 90*.

The head is the front half of the crisis suit torso. I used some miscellaneous bits for the right eye (missile launcher tip and ork aiming reticule and I think a melta bomb. The left eye is just the crisis suit head.

I used the russ flamer bit for inside the mouth and plasticard/rod for the rest of the hand made conversions (lower jaw and tail. Guitar string makes up the cables.

The arms are the crisis suit legs and feet trimmed down and used choppa bits for claws (oh, and the front teeth)

I still have a cyclone missile launcher I was thinking about putting on his back. I might have to see if I can use a WYSIWYG dread (paying extra points of course)

I think I am going to pull off the chain copper arm and replace it with the little talons like on his left side. I think I will be happier with that.

dreads have to have 2 CCWs and 2 Guns at the least...
