Basically Eldrad with the Avengers (Guide,Guide,Doom)
Bright Lances and Dragons take care of tanks whenever possible, Pathfinders either weed out weak tanks or just hold an objective and try to stay alive, and of course take out MC's as is their design. Prisms take out lots of things very easily, mostly infantry, as do Avengers, which when combined with Doom and Guide are pretty awesome.

Looks... Interesting...

I'd say that if played right, and if played in a non-Comp:ed tournament, it should be in the top 50% at the end...

Somewhere in the unknown universe.

I like it, it looks workable.

However, ditch the runes of witnessing. They will just kill your Frseer faster. Not a good thing.

also, maybe you could drop the pathfinders in favor of some Jetbikes. They're fast, durable, and somewhat more mechanical.

Congratulations, that was the stupidest remark the entire wargaming community has managed to produce in a long, long time.

Congratulations, your dismissive and conclusory commentary has provided nothing to this discussion or the wider community on whose behalf you arrogantly presume to speak nor does it engage in any meaningful way the remark it lamely targets. But you did manage to gain experience points toward your next level of internet tough guy.

Well, I'm a bit concerned that you have two scoring units, DA in a Serpent and five Pathfinders.
Pathfinders eventually have a hard time these days because of cover-ignoring weapons out there.

Keep the runes of witnessing, on a farseer with two powers you can expect to fail once per game if you dont take the runes. With the runes you can expect to fail once very three games or so.

Two troop choices can work at the 1500 level, but one of them being pathfinders could be iffy. There are enough flamers and cover ignoring artillery out there that its quite possible the pathfinders will die an early death. That would leave you with protecting your DA at all cost or else just trying for a draw in objectives games.

The banshees bother me a bit, they are going to be very fragile and yet a very tempting target as well. Five banshees plus a farseer are going to draw all the fire in their neighborhood, at best you have to think they will get one good assault in. With the amount of firepower you are already throwing around do you really need an assault force?

How about: dropping the banshees and the second farseer to take another full squad of DAs. This would leave you with 90 points plus the six unspent. A second DA squad would give you a bit more flexibility on objective missions, and would cover those awkward games where the first DA squad has an unfortunate accident early in the game.

The 96 points could go to a few places. Maybe boost the fire dragon squad a bit, add an exarch with a flamer to give them a dual purpose. Or give holofields to two of the prisms. Holofields would make the prisms tough enough that you could expect them to last into the endgame, making life very difficult for your opponent.

You are fielding a lot of tanks for the 1500 level, so that will help overload your opponent's AT capability. Knock out his AT, dance the eldar movement dance, and hit pieces of his army at a time. Should work fine.

Why does my eldar army run three fire prisms? Because the rules wont let me use four in (regular 40k).

awesome, thanks for the posts back, I'm most likely (definitely) taking out the Banshees, and in there place I'm going to add either a unit of 6 Fire Dragons, up the first unit to 6, remove the Farseer, add 3 Jetbikes, with a Jet Warlock with Embolden and upgrade one of the Serpents with a BL.

Alternatively I could go more AI heavy and replace the Banshees with 10 more Avengers, taking off the Runes of Warding from one seer and making them both Doom/Guide seers. as well as removing the Bright Lance from the serpent, but I think this may compromose my AT ability, just as the other option may compromise my AI ability, despite the mighty dispersed prism shot...

any opinion s on which way would be best for this army to go?

On foot, I'd definitely find a way to get Eldrad into your list. He's MUCH better then a regular farseer, and can cast 3 powers a turn (2 of the same)

With that said, you've got the right idea with the Prism tanks. Even if one gets shaken, you still have two to link up, and best case, throw out an Anti-MEQ large blast template.

I'd personally swap out the Mirrorswords on the Banshee exarch and swap it for the Executioner. The 2+ Strength really helps a lot when scoring wounds, but if you're going up against armies without high T, its no biggie (but in that case, I'd take Striking Scorpions).

The Pathfinders are a good choice, but I personally don't like the Fire Dragons in this. I'm not sure why. Maybe its because you've got Anti tank covered (in the prisms) and anti-toughness covered (in the pathfinders), and anti power armour in the Banshees.

Personally, I'd drop the Dragons and double the pathfinders.

With ALL that aside, you've still got a pretty good list. I like it. I just play a bit differently I guess.

You'd get more mileage from Doom on your farseer. To echo another poster, Eldrad roxxors when he gets to tool around in a wave serpent or falcon...

Ba-zziiing!
