Well, I'm playing warhammer for a half year now and found a termie from the black reach set that wasn't painted. So took a break from my tau army and tried my skills on this. After seeying the pic's I see tere has to be a few touchups.

Please comment and critize on my termie.

Thank you

Probably somewhere I shouldn't be

OK, it's not a bad start, you need to concentrate on getting your whites smoother. Use a spray primer rather than brush-on. White is a very difficult colour to paint well (heck, I'd shy away from an all-white army). The problem is, unless you shade the white, it looks like it's just primer. So I'd try and find a light grey primer (auto shops should have this in abundance) and work your white up from there - drybrush it on if you have to!

The blue is not bad, but your highlighting is a bit rough. Instead of highlighting, try using a slightly lighter blue, then washing with asurmen blue a couple of times for shading.

Your gold is not mixed well enough, and could really do with a wash of ogryn flesh, and the stormbolder would look much better with a wash of black.

Keep on trying though - we like to see improvement!

^ what he said, big thing tho, water down your paints, atm they look really quite thick, also, colours are generally quite flat, include some shading, not just highlighting

other than that however, good effort, better than some of my stuff

Just a man, standing in front of a paint pot, trying to remeber if I rinsed boltgun metal in it.

Somewhere in the unknown universe.

Perhaps the paint could be watered down, but it's fine other than that.

Congratulations, that was the stupidest remark the entire wargaming community has managed to produce in a long, long time.

Congratulations, your dismissive and conclusory commentary has provided nothing to this discussion or the wider community on whose behalf you arrogantly presume to speak nor does it engage in any meaningful way the remark it lamely targets. But you did manage to gain experience points toward your next level of internet tough guy.
