Here's my most recent completed mini. Although it seems like a chaplain would be easier since they're just black, I did a lot of NMM work on him and it seemed like there was always something else to do. I obviously did some simple base modification, and replaced his bolt pistol arm with a power sword, plus added that little latern hanging off his butt area. I really like how the latern and chain on his sword arm add to the feeling of him jumping forward. Let me know what you think.

HERE'S SOME BETTER PICS! http://www.dakkadakka.com/gallery/images-16825-3352_Assault%20Chaplain.html

I put a link above that picture that goes to a gallery with like five other pictures in it from other angles. If you meant other pictures than that, then I'd have to take more. I do plan on taking some pics outdoors when the sun comes back to where I live.

right, your lighting in the gallery is pretty gak.
you need multiple white lights or at best some of those daylight lamps to get a good photo
its weird the photo you posted here is fine though the gallery is really badly tinted...

Congratulations, that was the stupidest remark the entire wargaming community has managed to produce in a long, long time.

Congratulations, your dismissive and conclusory commentary has provided nothing to this discussion or the wider community on whose behalf you arrogantly presume to speak nor does it engage in any meaningful way the remark it lamely targets. But you did manage to gain experience points toward your next level of internet tough guy.

Not so fussed about the lighting, you can tell the miniature is well painted. Good job!

That's very nicely done. The photos are very yellow, maybe alter your white balance a bit. Can you tell me how you did the black armour?

I use armory black base spray paint, which is a very flat black. So to get a more satin finish I thinned down some chaos black and washed the whole thing.

Big spender, huh? Armory paints are too much for me, I use 1.99 krylon because I am cheap.

Your chappy looks absolutely bombin'. Your NMM painting is superb, it looks better than using a metallic paint by 10000x.

wow very nice I am always impressed by NMM because I seem to fail at it every time I try, the blending never looks right to me. Awesome job!

The highlighting on the black is pretty simple, just some thinned down adeptus battle gray foundation paint. It's the nicest dark gray I've found so far. All the other grays are too light. Although you could always mix your own.

Even in those poorly lit pics, you can tell that your mini looks GREAT. Nice NMM work. I cant try that technique until I get more colors lol. Ill have to double my color selection before I even try it

This one shows the base- http://www.dakkadakka.com/gallery/42901-.html?m=2

It's just a pile of "rock" that matches the rock on the model.
