Well i was thinking of making an shooty army for my orks and will include many different choises but pretty much shootas on everything Right now i just have my big mek named Kanztrug and a battlewagon made from a drop pod but on saturday, or even friday if im lucky, i'll buy many things hehe.

I'm not sure what clan but maybe deathskulls or bad moons as they fit in with the shooty theme

ahh, the old door bell taktiks. Good luck. Pick deffskulls. Bloo is best. yellow can be hard to paint. I tried chippies method and it worked great for yellow and other bright colors, plus its fast. anything to speed up ork painting is okay in my book.

How about you just hold off on telling us all the cool things you're going to do until you've got something to show for it?

Im a hardcore CC Ork player. I think shooty Orks are blasphemy. But that being said, I need to get some lootas. They really do kick ass. I need them to counter some pesky landspeeders lol

well i planned the army like this for starters;
HQ big mek w kustom force field

Elite: 5 Lootas, 5 Nobs (dont know equipment yet)

Troop 20 ork boys w shootas, 1 Deff dread

Fast: maybe two 3 units of bikes otherwise none

Heavy support: 1 battlewagon, 2 looted wagons

And a stompa



this is pretty much it that i will start with and i will also make a skullhamma for my friend (he gave me candy ) so i will be sure to post that to when he wants me to make it.
I was thinking, now that i'm gonna get so many different funny heads that some swaps would be in orderand if you have suggestions i will concider them

i'm almost sure i'm going with the bad moons but its still not confirmed and also if you think that soemthing is missing or needs to be replaced on the list just tell me as i'm a litlle unsure myself:

Good overview look of your space but if you want any feedback I would suggest getting some up close pics of the model*edit* posted a new pic as I was typing... your camera is fine as your back ground is fairly sharp. Make a light box(many walk troughs on here) and see if your camera has a macro mode normally on most modern digital cameras it is a portrait mode. Also unless you think you are going to get into a bunch o apoc games I would hold off on the Stompa if you are just starting your force that money could be better spent on more units! Good luck!

thanks for the tips but this army is mostly decorative as i suck at playing and otherwise when i play i will cooperate with a buddie in a waagh! apocalypse match and heres the pic of me mek slightly better

Yay, i finaly got some good pic of the droppod!
and also the mek is done (went with bad moons) and a looted wagon

I can tell everything is still very WIP, and so far its looking good. The droppod battlewagon is hilarious. Thats the way Orks think. I think it needs some kind of filling in, in the front where your cannon is. It looks too.....open or something is missing. Also I think the smaller rear tire looks a bit odd. BUT thats it for me there, its looking really good.
Bad moonz are a cool color scheme. Im painting my vehicles with chrome paint, and then weathering the hell out of them (rust and black wash over the seems and rivets and such) and they totally look bad moonz. I even went with yellow on some of the parts. It looks great, Ill have to take pictures of my BW. I have a looted wagon Boom gun in my gallery thats about half finished being painted. Its just in the rust stage, but you cna get the idea of what Im getting at.
Great job so far man, your boyz have alot of coolness going for them. Keep it up

Also to help with your pics. You see the ones where the vehicle is blurry but your paint pods are clear? Thats the distance you need to take your photos at with your camera. Also a big enough sheet of paper to cover the whole shot in the background will make your pics look loads better.

now that you say it i AM missing somethin on the droppod, too much open space wich can get more details.....

hey guys, i recently found a old "worn out" land raider and thought.... LOOOOOT!!!!!!!!!!! so any ideas on what i should do with the thing?

BTW the dropwagon needs some more detail.

Possibly a lot of glyphs and battle damage and that will look sweet.

and i think that the thing will be used as either an killa kan and when thats not possible as 3 grot oilers for the mek.

And i need more suggestions on the land raider. should i make it into the hangar or do you have a cool idea for me?

Darn it ... i read Land Speeder ... i whas gonna suggest combine it with the Rhino ...

But as for Land RAIDER i would suggest to either make it a hangar OR *dram-dadada-dam* combine some parts of it (lots of filing and cutting i guess) with the drop pod.

Also i suggest you glue some grots here and there on it , hanging on it like its going(stolen from warcraft ) FULL SPEED AHead

Well it would certanly make it bigger and cooler but i dont know if i want to combine them, but it sound so awesome!!!!..

OK i'm just gonna put the land raider away for me future project. gonna paint me looted veichle tomorrow and also the "meks pet", will make drivers for the looted later, have only one little boy i can use for that now.

So i was sitting and painting today in me local workshop and then i got the greatest idea of my life. I'm gonna build an ork city!
Sadly i cant start with this project until next year but i can show you what i'm thinking of as a filler until i get my models!

The town will be called DEFF ZITI and will have fun things such as speakers that i will record funny thing that you can hear in an ork city and for when i'm declaring a waagh!
the city will include some of this too; 3 stompas, 2 sets of the imperial city pack, 2 bastions, a droppod, lotz of bitz and foambord and plasticard

yes the stompas are towers but will be able to deatatch and go on fighting like normal stompas

So started to paint me looted wagon, it's not done yet, and will problably finish it tomorrow
