I think he looks better without his backpack-add-on and those wrong stripes at his spear.
Now given him a standard sallie-green paintjob, but changed the mantle to black.
C&C welcome
Maybe a hint for a nice appropriate color for his base?

It's a little hard to see the detail with the pictures pulled that far away I would love to see a few closer pictures. Looks good I just wish there were some close ups of the detail.

Shouldn't the base provide a contrast to the main colors?

These first 2 are close. At least what i may achieve with this camera, its zoom and some evening sun.
May try with daylight to shoot more pics.

Try cropping the image just around the mini and leaving the picture it full size (or close to it). Thats what I do to get close ups on my minis.

Looks good, but the green in general and the yellow eyes in particular really need a dark wash.

He looks much better without the bling and now I can see what the pose actually looks like from different angles (and not from that really bad GW pic) it makes me want the model even more.
