Ok so , im gonna build a venerable dread , im already started , but no pictures yet sorry :(

Heres the base , fully completet imo , you be the judge though






What i have left to do :

Highlight the base
Paint 40% of the model and highlight it
Give the whole thing a wash

Cool. I like it. Maybe a little more battle damage on the Tau parts.

Looks good so far mate, what dred model are you using? AoBR, pewter ven dred or a normal dred?

The battle damage on the tau part :

I cut out two major "gun holes"(they dont go all the way through) , drybrushed the Deneb Stone area with 2 layers of skull white(after washing it) , and drybrushed the silver with Tin Bits , then gave it all a 3 washes of Devlan mud for a dirty look

I agree. More battle damage on the drone. Maybe even gouge a big slash in the body and paint it like the insides were on fire.

All jokes aside, that base looks really nice. I look forward to seeing the finished product

Super! I give it 12/10 because the stealth Ven dred is so well painted that i dont think any photo shop or cinematic special effect can beat that.

Looks good so far - really nice idea for the base, simple yet eye catching
