Does anyone know the full rules for it yet?
I know the store im at is doing a torny to decide who goes,
but besides that all i know is it is store vs store with 3 people per team.

Not sure, is that the thing that's going on at some GW stores? There is a tourney of some sort being organized at my local GW stores, sending 3 players each down to the Baltimore bunker. If it's not that, never heard of it.

The Warpstone Invitational is a 42 player Warhammer team tournament that will be hosted in the Glen Burnie Bunker on the 30th of August.

Stores in the region (MD, PA, VA) will host lead up events to determine a team of three experienced players (with painted 2000 point armies) to represent their local GW store.

These three players will compete against other teams in a series of three games on themed terrain with special rules. In addition, individual players will track their results and be awarded prizes based on individual performance. The winning team will bring back a trophy for their store plus other prizes.

I'm working out the rules and building terrain and trophies for it now. The Inner Circle gaming club will also be helping run the event.

John is it GW stores only? I don't believe I have any stores close to me anymore. I do have some Rogue Trader stores though.

yes its only for GW stores along the East Coast, Mainly the PA, MD and VA stores.

Man... that sucks! Our closest GW store was in Charlotte, and it's been closed for a while now.

I started going to the store in Olney MD, it by far has the friendliest customers, everyone there is extremely helpful and kind and it just has a great atmosphere, i have had some of the best times there, it is great.
