Any ideas (besides making an army of 'em) before I do something stupid?

Something besides making an army because they all look the same. and there's no asssault and heavy weapons.

An army of Terracotta statues for your Emperor? Perhaps make a dueling diorama between a SM and CSM with a few of them being used as cover?

Or maybe a tonne of bronze statues for Imperial terrain pieces?

Plenty of options, go nuts!

(worst comes to worst, they'd make great testbed models for new techniques/paint schemes)

Like Dog said since they are all the same model I would make some sweet terrain out of them.

Get some gold, bronze, or Textured stone spray paint and make an army of statues.

Or there is always Ebay.

Paint each one a different chapter color scheme and make a typebox display for your wall. That'd be cool.

Buy a Devastator box or two and you will have 110 man Marine Army to use in Apocalypse or something.

OR, split them into squads of 10, discard/sell/keep one squad and pint up the rest as each of the loyalist legions, actually that's daft go with the earlier one of apinting them all up, something esasy you can do with a spray gun, then jut but some veteran boxes and dev squad boxes and you have a hefty army very quickly

I like the quick fit models when trying to bulk out a force. Mixing them with standard units is hard to spot the difference.

Make a gory Tyranid army with lots of puncture wounds and heads stepped on etc.

Paint them all Ultramarines colors....then make it a terrain piece of dead and dying marines...a whole pile of them! On a serious note,
Ebay will probably be your best bet, save like half of them and sell the rest...you'll have enough if you decide to do a marine army.

I would make a new army with them, theyre a good start.

modifty each one, personalizing them with extra guns, seals banners, battle damage, bionics, etc.

Make a army dude buy in a Dreadnought or two or three or four ahem.... yes anyway and some command minis tanks and such you dont have to worry about infantry....

Well maybe some Assault Marines but hey its the basis for an army dude.

Personally, I'd paint them as a terracotta army and make a SWEET bit of scenery out of them.

If you are going to paint them as a whole company, use the Clone Wars Troopers concept and distinguish each marine with different patterns on their helemts. For, every 10 marines, use one color and vary the helmet design. Repeat the same design in a different color for the next ten. Rinse and repeat.
