My understanding is that it was being revealed on the 16th. Germany is behind Australia and in Australia it's only 4:45pm. It'll be a few hours still 'til we get there in Germany.

Ok 9:02 here in London and well... being one of the thousands of wargamers on gw website pressing refresh and new the releases button at the same time.

That will be nothing on the GW website before Monday.

The GD usually open at 11:AM ; except for premium ticket, at 10:AM .
It's 10:13 AM, so the German GD has normally open : )

The 16th is the first reveal, the 17th (in store) is for the 2 or 3 people who play GW games and don't have access to the Internet, or know someone who does.

Well, on the german boards people are saying that it`s "just" Space Hulk. Box is supposed to be quite a bit bigger than the regular ones

Meine “Agenten” berichten, dass es in der Tat die Space Hulk Box sein wird!
Es gibt offenbar keine weiteren Infos, auch den Preis offenbar noch nicht. Bestellbar ab morgen und auf einige wenige Exemplare pro Laden begrenzt (er meint, 10 oder 15 Stück).
Die Kiste soll größer sein als die normalen Grundboxen.

Well I am at Games Germany in Cologne and my first impression is, not much new information.

Forge World has a Chaos Reaver Titan on display. Nothing more about Spaces Wolves. Only the two known painted minis and a promo poster.

For the "Highlight of the year" there is just a subtle hint: the GW folks wear shirts with a Terminator and the shirt to buy is one with a Tyranid. Guess for yourselfs...
Oh and they heavily promote their Website because tomorrow there will be "Great news" in the Newsletter.

Also, as has been previously mentioned, the fact that it is Space Hulk, which the 'rumor community' has "known" for some time now combined with the fact that the 'official' GW word was that it wasn't Space Hulk kind of makes the whole "Everything you've been told is a lie" thing a bit ironic.

That is, if it is Space Hulk, of course!

It's a box in a box in a box in a box in a box. 15 layers of mystery boxes down it's just a random Squat part covered in blood with a message screwled on the side saying "squats" in blood. Obviously that Squat part was used to write the message. Nothing unusual.

The same kind of donkey-caves that introduce races/armies,get people to spend loads of time and money building those armies and then snatch away all support,or discontinue them completely.
The same kind of donkey-caves that turn flavorful codices into boring garbage.
IMO this whole "Mystery box" thing has been nothing more than an over hyped piece of slick marketing crap.
