Hey everyone, just finished painting this model, and I'm looking for some criticism and tips. I'm somewhat new to painting models, and I tried a few new techniques with this one. There may be some green stuff showing on his sword arm.. sadly I let someone take a closer look at the model and they dropped him, so it's a temporary fix for the time being. :(

I'm not sold on more washes, myself. I think what he needs is more highlighting.
Especially so on the robes and skull. A lighter shade of brown on the skull where it is closer to the light source (sun, if you will) and a brown that is much lighter for the highest of raised areas. Like the very ends of the "gums" where they meet the teeth, the brow ridges around the eye cavity and the bridge of the nose hole.
The robes could use a shade or two lighter on the topmost areas of the folds.
Also...
Don't forget to base him!
Once you base him, you will have a nice mini. Even if you don't do any highlighting. Add those small touches and he'll be all the better for it.

I'm with Ghidorah on this one: some simple line highlighting would look very good. Often when I have a very monochromatic paintjob, I'll use the highlighting stage to make some texture distinctions. For example, I would use a Blood Red/Blazing Orange highlight on the cloth portions and a Red Gore/Blood Red highlight on the armor bitz.
And base him. Nothing detracts from a nice paintjob more than an unfinished base, IMO.
