Miniatures Market, which I like almost as much as H' loves Maelstrom has started doing At-43 bitz for open order.

Check out the site linked. Miniatures Market sadly dont do free worldwide shipping, hence the almost. But their prices are very good, Maelstrom doesnt do AT-43, the game is at ridiculous prices even at discount in the UK and it generally niffs me off that the only worldwide free shipper is UK based anyway.

For At-43 and Confrontation minitures that are not on firesale discount I recommend CCGArmoury but they do not do free shipping at all. While there check out their reasonable terrain prices.

Back to the bargains:

The front two are not too great as priced, but worth mentioning because of their presence.

Vandal. Bull headed Cog mecha, just waiting for you to convert into a walking Hammerhead. $34

Pass the Dotchy on the left hand side. $30 - You just got to have this bad boy (unless you want the whole army box for $52.50).

The Dotch Yaga and Vandal above are massive, the bases are 13cm accross, think of the models base as the size of a block of four IG heavy weapons bases and you will get an idea of the size of the monsters.

Here is the real bargain, a Hetman for $12. Think walking Leman Russ, the base is 8cm accross, so imagine a block of four based termies covering the same base to indicate size. These models lack decals, but that is no disadvantage if you want to add skulls chaos croasses or Aquilas to it. You might like it for AT-43 too, but if you do just get the boxset, or two. You coukld of course buy a Hetman extra for converions of the arms, there will be a new ** Red Blok walker soon with two AT cannon on it. Buy a couple of these and you will get one of the new walker and a Kossak for $24, which I think will likely be cheaper than the cost of one of the new walker.

The various wall sections are good for any SF or moderns miniture game in roughly or about 28mm scale. There were crates too at $6 each, they always get snapped up and today was no exception. I could have got four earlier, now there are none.

Its not all for converters. Here is one for AT-43 players. You normally cant get this template at a reasonable price.

Also for Red Blok players I recommend you consider:

Its interesting that they have some Spetsnaz left over, good timing for you Red Blok players out there. What I did (some time ago actually) was buy three Spetsnaz flamers cut off the fuel cylinders and shorten the gun shield. Instant ATGauss conversion ready for one squad of Dragonovs when I get the boxset. Looks similar to the official kit too, though you will need to convert up the helmets, or swap heads with the specialists, who do not need IR gear for their job, in fact the lens faceplate would be a hinderance.

Get one Dragonov Trooper and two Dragonov snipers if you are buying one Army Box.
Get two Dragonov Troopers and one Dragonov sniper if you are buying two Army Boxes.
This will cost you $10 plus $7.50 for the three Spetsnaz. This yields two full squads of nine Dragonovs if you buy two sets, one with three snipers one with three ATGauss. If you buy one boxset you will get a full squad of nine Dragonov of your choice with a Dragonov heavy weapons team to deploy seperately or swap out.

I'm deeply embarrassed to say that that made actually laugh, but I'll forgive you on the basis that I have wanted a Dotch Yaga in the original Red Blok colours for a while now. It's certainly a better price than the Frostbite camo version.

Nice tip on the flamer to ATGauss, by the way.

Of course I'll probably consider buying a variety other single troopers to round out units, until I finally decide, "Meh, I'll just buy the box and be done with it."

"But you don't need anymore Red Blok."

"Quiet you!"

Watch your price threshold. I wanted two more Fire Toads, best price right there on MM at $18 (sold out at the moment). I took a long look at the extra $24 to upgrade to Damocles sets. I dont really need a lot of what is in Damocles, but twelve more low walls, two more crates and more Storm Golems will come in handy. The two Wraith Golgoths will be cut up and a six legged hip block constructed, one torso added with a Yakult container glued on behind. Should make a half decent Kraken if I dont mind saying. So I bought two extra Damocles instead, and I have six such boxsets now.

Same applies to the Army Box bitz, by the time you have upgraded your squads to maximum you are halfway to the price of a boxset, you might as well think about the benefit of doubling up. Consider what you can do with the excess material, be prepared to think outside the box to get the most out the contents, and dont forget the terrain features and dice in your calculations; you can never really have enough of those. If you run out of ideas you can always dump the excess on FeeBay.

MM have been clever with the pricing, notice how infantry officers cost less than troopers, this is no mistake. with the earlier bitz sales from attachment boxsets troopers were cheap, but here troopers are needed to boost small squads into big ones so those extra four Krasny needed to make the second squad a full sized squad are expensive. More so than normally more expensive single miniatures like the officers.

Fixed.

Everyone needs more Red Blok, unless they dont play AT-43, or Imperial Guard.

MM is a great store with great staff.
They're semi-local to me. One of the few places I'll buy my gaming supplies on a regular basis.

If you're close, they're worth checking out in person. They have HUGE selections of stuff (really insane amounts of stock), and run a 40K tournament EVERY month.

Looking for the Empire spearmen from the Warhammer sixth edition box set (empire vs orcs) Must be unpainted and in good condition. Also looking for MIB Empire State Troops boxes.

Looking for Battle for Macragge and Black Reach Tactical squads, unpainted and unassembled.

The soldiers only really need an inkwash and then they are ok.

Also the last two minitures are Army boxset stock and thus of lower paint quality.

If you want quality, think of At-43 minis as pre-basecoated. in this way they are good, very good in fact as the paint done so far is thin, sticks on and accurate to the model. Drybrush and inkwaah techniques will buold them up to A+ quality real easy.

Up to a point the same applies to Army box vehicles, which miss out on some layering work used on other vehicles in the range.

I have always liked the Red Blok mechs. It's a shame I've never met anyone who plays this.
