Hey guys,

Here's the deal. I want to make a few of my own Blood Slaughterers. I really don't care for the new Forge World model at all. It does not look right (and it's just oo expensive.)

I have an idea or two to make my own Blood Slaughterer models based on a Chaos Dreadnought upper body. I wanted to mount the upper body of the dreadnought on the rear part of plastic war Wartraks. (the tread part where the gunner and weapon usually are. My problem is that this makes the piece a little too short. I'd like these to be about the same height as a dread.

Any ideas? I guess I can use a block of pink foam, but that would make spraying the model difficult.

I might be stating the obvious but have you seen the old one?
A big ol' set of wheels attached to the dread could be the way to go?

yes, I am familiar with the old one. I think I may have one in a box somewhere in storage. That's why I was leaning towards using the Wartrak treads, to keep the old one as the inspiration since it has the small tread in the back.

The PVC pipe option may work, I'd need a T section type piece for the 2 wheels in front and then gooing back into the tread piece.

Any suggestions on suitable wheels?
