Guard Heavy Weapon Crewman

I just got back to working on my army after a long break. I just primed around twenty converted guardsmen, and I'm nearly finished converting an magnetizing my first Chimera.

I could use some advice on the Chimera - specifically, the placement of the searchlight (the only major part remaining). I've attached images of it temporarily attached in the two positions I currently have in mind: on the side of the turret, and attached to the hatch ring (the normal location). I'm leaning toward attaching it to the side, but I'd like to know what you think. Alternative placement suggestions or comments on the other changes are also welcome.

Conversions:
- Passenger Compartment Porthole Covers - I didn't care much for the standard laser guns, and the vehicle's new rules no longer make use of them, so I added hatch covers.
- Magnetized Hull Weapon Mount - Allows switching between the Heavy Bolter and Heavy Flamer (fairly standard for anyone magnetizing this tank, I assume)
- Magnetized Dozer Blade Mount - The blade bears the planetary emblem
- Extended Track Guards - Both sides contain magnets, and I've built a Hunter-Killer Missile launcher that can attach to the right side (seen below). These magnets should also allow hanging armored skirts for "Extra Armor" (which I haven't built yet, and may not bother to), and possibly "Camo Netting" (if I can figure out how to build convincing removable netting)
- Non-standard Turret with Magnetized Weapon Mounts - This turret allows a defensive weapon to be mounted coaxially with the Multilaser (and theoretically with a Heavy Bolter or Heavy Flamer, once I get around to building these). The Heavy Stubber barrel fits underneath the main weapon, while the Storm Bolter fits over it (see pictures below). The turret itself is magnetically attached to the hull, so it is removable and could accommodate a magnetized vehicle crewman. The turret still needs a searchlight, of course, and I'll add rivets before painting it.

Nice, I like the turret. Seems believably Imperial.

The Polito form is dead, insect. Are you afraid? What is it you fear? The end of your trivial existence?
When the history of my glory is written, your species shall only be a footnote to my magnificence.

I like the turret overall. The size of the turret goes well with the body. The only thing I don't like is the main gun looks kinda small when comparted to the size of the turret and feels out of place. It just sticks out randomlly almost. If it had some sort of cover around it might flow better. Kinda like a battlecannon has the small shield guard bit around its base of the cannon. Maybe one of the guards for the HB or LC from the heavy weapons might fit. Or something so it just doesn't just stick out randomlly. Other then I like the conversion. I wish I had gone through and used magents on all my IG so I could have more options.

Looks like an old Mk I tank from the Great War. I love it!

The difference between commitment and involvement is like eggs and ham; the ckicken was "involved", the pig was "comitted".

Reminds me of the Soviet T-23 turret. Works really well.

This would be particularly cool for a DKoK-style army - the standard Chimera looks far too modern in my opinion.

And I like the turret size in comparison to the weapon, it makes sense for a manned turret.
