So I decided Id like to use a hellcannon in a battle for my WoC just to see how it goes, but didnt feel like buying one considering I might never use it.

So... Heres my attempt at making my own. I SUCK at greenstuff so if anyone has advice on it (Dont tell me to read the multiple threads on it... I have. I just want advice on this specific project) that would be fantastic. So here we is... Both sides are the same... So yeah

Mix your GS better... I see loads of yellow bits in there.

Actually its not the mixing... I wondered for along time why there was little hard chunks in my green stuff and i finally realized theres like rock hard chunks of yellow from the greenstuff before I even mixed it. It doesnt make a difference in the over all result (mainly cause its already hard [thats what she said] although Im not sure why)

I should have said something about it in the first post... I totally saw that comment comming anyways

Hehe, no problem. When you encounter those (I know I do as well, and to be honest I completely forgot about it until you mentioned it), just pluck them out with some tweezers (or your fingers if you're able). It'll help with the overall quality of your sculpt in the end.

use tube style GS not ribbon. The hard chunks are where both sides of the epoxy had contact while in the container, and those areas started to cure. If you use ribbon style GS there will always be pre cured bits floating around that will screw up your sculpt.

I use the tube style GS and I've never had any problem with it. So i prefer that style.
Back to the topic
I actually like it. I'm just missing some skulls and trapped souls 'n stuff.. Keep up the good work, and remember to update this thread

Hmmmm Ill have to give it a try. This isnt gw greenstuff its from a local hobby store that sells a ton of it for alot less. Never had problems before but Ive also had this greenstuff for probably near a year O_o ?

Also back on topic. Where on it should I put skulls? I have very few lying around and i sucked hard when i tried to green stuff them. I want them in the back but will preferebly keep the whole cannon with that same nurgle type look. Will post updated pics tonight

I'm working on the same thing but with a twist! It's still a work in progress. What do you think?

thats rather nice, i like these hell cannons, although ive always wanted to see a diorama or something in the duel category that depicted a hell cannon eating its crew, with them desperately trying to fight/run

Oooooh, Slaanesh cannons give lightshows!

Any chance for a cotton candy machine on that hing as well?

But seriously- nice start, keep at it both of you.

Infinity: Way, way better than 40K and more affordable to boot!
