O H I am in the Webway...

Pics are a bit fuzzy >.>.

They look to small! I would bulk up the legs.

I wouldn't call it a great conversion but it's a good money saver.

I dont like em :(
The orks look like they have been on a diet and somehow lost thier basic structure :(

Orks cant stand up straight like termies due to thier hips and how thier mid section are built (look at an ork model to see this)

Also, the legs look way too thin and long, orks tend to have short legs as thier body makes up alot of thier height.

Suffused with the dying memories of Sanguinus, the warriors of the Death Company seek only one thing: death in battle fighting against the enemies of the Emperor.

First of all the pics are really blurry. Invest in a tripod. Second, from what I can see they look like terminators with ork heads and a couple of random bits glued on.

Better pics please!

I don't hate the idea at all, I think orks would very happily loot any broken termy armour they find. But the legs need some work to look more orklike - extra pistons on the outside, and some limb moving to better match the typical orky posture. Making a terminator leg bend will require some cutting, of course, but some extra ork armour plating will hide the joins and add to the look.

you could try using plasticard or similar material to just make some boxy armor. That's what I had planned on doing.

They would look good as flash gits, just get rid of the crappy klaws.

I can always see the reasoning behind the Terminator to MANz conversion, but I've always hated the results. Orks just aren't proportioned like 'umies and it always looks wrong.

I have a pile of old plastic termies, and must try this conversion. As SRM says, the proportions are wrong to use as is, but on the other hand I'm sure a looting ork mek would quickly fix that with a welding torch! So if the pose and proportions can be made more ork-like, then I think looted termy armour counting as Mega armour is perfectly fluffy and _could_ look very good.

I assume you mean plasticard. Most model train stores will have it, yet I think Plasticard is sort of a brand, I believe it's un-branded name(for lack of a better term) is sheet
styrene. If all else fails and you can't find it, I think that those,"beware of dog," signs are made from it.

As for the actual models, I can't see much the photos are a bit blurry. Yet, they look pretty ok from what I can see.
