Greetings,
Back when i finally hit my 100th post I was quite sad (and had to go back and edit it) because I had wasted said post talking about some trivial rule issue instead of trumpeting a just and honest love of Dark Elf boobies. Therefore, to correct this crass oversight, and now here with my official 200th post, I present a challenge to all of you Dakkaites - GW is oft lambasted for some terrible female figurines, but certainly there are some out there which you happen to enjoy. So therefore my challenge;
Post up your favorite female sculpt from GW.
For me it is this fine lass (and this particular picture (sorry I saved it a while ago and can't recall the original modeler/painter) prompted me to do a similar modification of my own copy of this model standing atop a dead Ultramarine)
The Dark Elf (Eldar for today) hottie on the left is probably my favorite GW female sculpt for a handful of reasons;
1. She is wearing fishnet stockings - and fishnet stockings are hot.
2. She has a bare midriff - and bare midriffs are hot.
3. She has Dark Elf boobies and...well, you get the gist.
Also, I *love* the attitude of the character. The slight sneer and the "come get some" pose really add a lot of character to the model (as does the subtly hidden knife in the original model, replaced by a splinter pistol here). The first time I saw the assembled Dark Elf Witches I knew which one I really wanted to paint because she summed up a sultry smuttiness with bad attitude and backstabbing readiness that truly encapsulated the whole Dark Elf/Eldar persona to me.
This is my favorite female GW sculpt, what's yours?

There aren't a lot of them, but I'll go with Bertha Bestraufung, from Mordheim. Awesome model, in beautiful plate armor, yet still very feminine.

GW can't do female figures. They do men (or orcs or ogres...) in drag.

I especially liked the female Catachan with the grenade launcher and machete...
Not particularly sex-aaaay, but in a GW miniatures line that's mostly a "sausage factory," she was a characterful and welcome addition.

I rather like tha 'matronly' Sisters of Sigmar leader, she's in my Inquisitirial retinue.
I like the skipping Dark Eldar Wych lord (Lelith Hesperax). I never understood why the plastic Cadian and Catachans were all made male.

Jes Goodwin's first gen Wood Elf Wardancers had some nice female figures.
That Lucretia Belladonna figure for Dogs of War was nice.
The Dark Elf sorceress with the beckoning finger was good.
I like the current witch elf range.

My favourite non-GW female is the Frost Giant's girlfriend from the Grenadier Giant's Club range. This lady was sculpted in 1985 (hence the 80's hairdo and gloves). She's about the size of a 54mm model. I think she still looks pretty good - in a very un-PC way. One day I must get around to painting her and the rest of the giants in the range.

Jes Goodwin was the god of GW female sculpts. The Escher juve with the pistol and pick axe has to be one of my close seconds for favorite sculpt.
I'm a big fan of that Sorceress too (and use her in my Dark Eldar army).

That's nice. I never liked that model until I saw that paint job on it. Nicely done!
My fave is the OOP Escher ganger with chainsword, and I think bolt pistol/laspistol, the one in the back of my =I= and retinue group shot.
*edit, sadly, it looks like GW resculpted some of their eschers, and the older heavy stubber and this model are gone <sniff>

Mordheim came out something well over 5 years ago, and she's not part of the initial release, so I'd guess the Vampiress Assassin is something like 5 or 6 years ago.
