this is nearly done now, needs some more paint, and possibly a little putty here and there if I ever get round to it. Could also do with few more Aquila's...

I do know it looks a little rough, but it's the best I came up with when using such materials as cardboard boxes, old video tape boxes, and a cheapo model tank.

The barrel was some old 2 foot long firework I found an age back, but if anyone's interested, the tracks are proper 1:24 scale leopard2 tank tracks, bought from the VsTank pro people.

Very nice. Possibly hide the edges on the las cannon turrets to disguise their bottle top origins. The tracks really pull the model together. Good work!

I agree, that is pretty damn nice for what its made from. Just make the barrel look better, as its really plain next to all the coolness lol.

Damn, this is great! How much time did it take to build this monster?

I think I started on it late jan/early feb time, and have been making it on and off since then. Mostly when I come up with an idea for doing the next parts on the thing.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
next time I try and make one of these, I'll use the same tracks, but will see about getting the complete wheel set from a 1:24 scale leopard2 tank. Then they will be able to move.
then again, I might try and make it r/c
