Woot, so this is my first post here and here is my current WIP. Its obviously, as the title says, a Deathwing Librarian. As the pictures show I deviated from the all blue color scheme and went with simply a blue crux bearing shoulderpad. Because in my mind the brotherhood of the Deathwing should come first. Any C&C is appreciated I'm sort of at a loss on the staff. I was thinking a silver metal but I don't want it shiny...and then I was thinking maybe wooden, but I don't want it to seem weak either. Lol.

The painting looks alright, but you really need to take your pictures on a stable white background because the whole "hold model in one hand, camera in other hand" does not deliver.

There, lol, bout the best you can hope for as I have poor lighting.

I like the choice of DW colors/blue shoulder instead of all blue. Overall looks good so far but I can't say too much until it is finished.

try doing the staff in a stone colour (jade?)
tha would contrast with the armour well

I think doing the staff in a purple would be awesome, if done like a force weapon with all that electric nonsense on it.

Thanks guys, I wish I would have checked a little sooner...Jade would've been neat, but I went with dark wooden ish color and silver / gold for the headpiece. Once I finish up the energy swirl thingies I'll get some pics up. Also I need to get some GS before I can start basing it...my plan at the moment is to have like energy spikes with rocks on top shooting up from the ground to maybe represent Force Barrier, maybe model like a bolt round smashing into it. I think it'd be damn sweet

Welp, here we go, mostly finished for the model that is, basing will come later...but I think the more that I've gotten done the less I like it. I wasn't gonna post the pic with the staff closeup lol cause it looks terrible, I thought about trying to pass it off as maybe source lighting from the energy arcs but I realize now that I'ma have to man up and try to pick out the small areas with the brown again *sigh*
