1st post --no pictures
can anyone sugest me a good color scheme for an imperial guard city fighting ?
This is where i came up with:
-flak armour goes codec grey
-clothing goes red gore
-metal bits goes boltgun metal
-faces go in a mixture of tints
-after this a black wash goes over whole the model
what do you think?
i will try to post some pics in my next post
the complete army is about 1200 points now but more to follow
something that cant miss are rough riders

yes this is a pic of 2 years ago (trust me when you see the how good they look with the black wash...)

The one thing i have to say about washing though is try and avoid the flesh parts as best as you can. (im not very skilled) but the way ive done faces on cadians before was a base coat of Tallarn flesh, then i wash over the flesh with the Ogryn Flesh wash, after that i do a very light drybrush of elf flesh. that is. provided that you aren't happy with the tones you get right now.
