A while back I was scammed out of some Orks in a trade with a user here named Stiffy. He never logged on after the fact, but now it's apparent that he was an alternate account of the user Gattzooney, who is currently selling Orks (many of them my Orks) in the Swap Shop. They are clearly the ones I was scammed out of them because many of them were uniquely converted and retain the paint job I gave them. It has also been confirmed that the users Stiffy and Gattzooney share the same IP. I strongly advise others not to trade with this guy.

I just purchased a unit from gattzooney and the transaction was very smoothe and well communicated.

I think the person's email + phone # + shipping address need to be posted .

but judging from your side of the story , i assume the fair amount of time has already been given.

Perhaps post the date sent + Thread link it took place in + copy of PM of the transaction + the trade contents.

I believe 10 days + the reason he gave , we need to give him "benefit of the doubt" first .
I would give him another week for him to atleast "respond" in detail to what is going on + what will be done .
I must recommend you ask him to send it via tracking + confirmation .

If no replies at all received , its time to act.

Personally i would never agree to a trade if the person is claiming to be "temporary away" may it be traveling or family visit or hospital .
Perhaps if you are able to get his phone number, explain the situation to his parents ( im really hoping that this guy is just a lazy child ,
and not a real full grown adult that scams )

but it is agitating considering my package is about 2 days away
and he hasnt been able to ship

5th August this year I was giving it another week before I brought this up myself as he said he'd sent it by surface mail and being in the uk that can take a while.

Is posting someone's address in an open forum really a wise idea? Sure, he scammed you, but the amount of issues that could come from that information being available to anyone is uncomfortable. That information should be kept privately between those effected in the transaction. Best thing to do is keep a running tally on this thread of what is missing, how many of those things he has listed for sale, and confirmation that his addresses are identical (confirmed via PM). Give him some leeway but use that time to prepare for pressuring him if he doesn't shape up.

Yes , you have told us that numerous times already . this is why we are doing this in our own effort without asking mods for help.
If Dakka does not wish to protect their swap members , then do the fair thing:
- let us deal with it ourselves
- close the swap shop.

Saying Dakka is not meant to be a trade forum and letting scammer get away easy is wrong thing to do.
