Imperial Tigers
This is my Dark Angles 13th Founding Chapter. There 3 distinct paths within the chapter; the Interrogators, the Reclusiam and the Warriors. There base colors on there armor tells you which path they are. The Interrogators are lead by Chaplains and are clad in black. The Reclusiam are lead by the Librarians and are clad in white. The Warriors are the most common Marine, they are clad in Orange. Most of the Imperial Tigers paint personalized stripes on there armor.
I like all of the Chapters, so rather than create a bunch of Chapters I am going to theme each Company based on the different Chapters, Special Characters and Codex’s. I do not plan on mixing companies on the field unless it is set up like the LFGS’s Gods of War Tournament or maybe Apocalypse.

The Dark Angles, secret masters of geometry, and whose existence is possibly the true dark secret of the Dark Angels. Their heretical knowledge of math has attracted much attention from the Inquisition.

Sadly their heretical knowledge of camera usage is not as good....

The colour scheme looks ok, but it's really hard to tell with the pics you've taken. Any chance of some that don't look like modem-downloaded pron?

Acutely put, good sir. Right or wrong, I'm always surprised at how obtuse the Dark Angels can be about their secret kin.

Some of the Squads and Vehicles have not been finished yet.
They are going to get the same stipes and other emblishments.

What do you think of the company orginisation?

I have been toying with this concept for a wile and Dakka has finaly given me the push to finish up.

I like it. Actually, my own runs along the same vein. Your models look good too.

Not bad. You need to do some work on the white models IMO, they look a bit like they are just undercoated then drybushed over a few metal bits.

Also, your spelling the name wrong. Its Dark Angels, not 'angles'. But its ok, i see alot of people do it

The White ones are Flat White undercoat and then Gloss White. The main problem I have is getting the white to look right.

Sort of reminds me of the fighting tigers of Veda. Not that that's a bad thing-they look great IMO .

I’m thinking of putting together a thread to show of my models and discus my Armies. Things like should it get this or what do you think of this unit, this kind of stuff. Should I just put in modeling or start it up as a blog?

They look good, but there's something that's just...off about the reds. I dunno what it is, but it just bothers me.

Did you just wash flat white with a red ink? Or use really watered down reds? Because it's almost transparent.

The Red on the Shoulder Pads was done with Red over White. The ones on the knee pads are just painted over the orange.

Hard to tell a great deal from those pics.

On the white and red guys, though, going back and picking out the flexy-bits in the joints with black would help to break up the solid colour a little and give them a little depth.

These two are destine for the “Pine-Sol Bath” so the overall quality is unimportant.

My question is which one do like better Left [Red on Base] or Right?

The Black on the soft armor and structures.

The Red on the base was to make it easy to just say the one with the red splotch, I should have been more clear. After some of the early suggestions I am trying to go into more detal.

I do have the tendency to paint to look good from 6’-10’ away and be able to tell which squad is which. Dakka has gotten me to go into more detail.
