So my old wolf army is starting to look a little tired, as a result i've decided to remake it from scratch. This blog will document the progress of the new army (until such a time as i get bored with the army and start another project as i'm notoriously easily bored when it comes to sticking to projects)

I wanted an army based off the exploits of Ragnar as I quite like his fluff, so I started by converting him (as they didnt update the mini with the new release), here he is so far, C & C welcome.

Not yet, every time i tried getting closer my camera blurred the hell outta them, even with the detail function on.

are you sure you'r using the macro(or micro , cant remember which) function ? Its the little flower on the scroll wheel on you camera .

Might have something to to with the light though . Try to put one lamp over the model and then either have dailight or another lamp in front of it . That way you will get good lighting ..

Looks cool though . How much time spent on GS-in the fur ?

Yeah i had the macro function on but i'll try screwing with the lights and see if that helps. The GS on the fur took about 20 minutes of sculpting (plus about another 30 of prepping and letting it dry enough etc etc). He's going to get one of the old double wolf head backpacks (from the last SW plastic kit) when I can find one.

edit: as well as ideas for Fenrisian wolves I need suggestions for thunderwolf cavalry
