They're not strictly lifesize from what I recall, the Marines and Terminator were little more than 5' tall.

this is probubly due to a lack of people actualy 8' tall. either that or there were short people making them at GW.

That's truly an awesome set of photos. I remember reading through the last Ork codex where they have tons of pictures of the battle of Big Toof river. I also remember a bunch of those other displays in the old rulebooks and Space Marine codex. This makes me wonder: What happens to all the old displays? They can't just trash them, can they? :-(
