Hello all, it's devinb1690 again. Today I have for your viewing pleasure my finished Ultraforge Greater Plague Demon and its scenice sludge base. This figure has become quite rare since Ultraforge has stopped producing it. Anyway, this model took about a week to paint. My camera certainly isn't the best, but I think I snapped some decent pics. In person, the model actually looks more of a lighter rotting flesh color than the green in the pics.

I used about every technique in the book for this, from creating a transparent water base, to adding glazes of sludge, and to custom making washes.

The base was made by myself, it is made of a thick black plastic, cut into a circle, and the interior was hollowed on a lathe to hold contents such as resin to simulate water.

I have all the industrial equipment to make bases of custom sizes and specifications at this time at fair prices, PM me if interested!!

I'm also starting a fair-priced painting service as well, quick turnaround times w/ periodic pics of my progress in your models, PM me if interested!!

Under the couch

Disgusting. In a good way

The one thing that does jump out is the bright green pustules... while they're obviously supposed to, to a certain extent, I think as is they're a little too distracting.

I think blending them into the skin around the edges would help reduce the strak contrast slightly, and would make them look more like eruptions from the skin and less like blobs of goo sticking to him.

The base is nice... sets him off well. Althougha few nurglings capering in the ooze wouldn't have gone astray

That is such an great model. I own one too. Too bad that UF is no longer carrying that model.

Looks great! I'd want the guts to be a little juicier but that's just me. I'm a big fan of the base too, it matches with the model very nicely.

Congratulations, that was the stupidest remark the entire wargaming community has managed to produce in a long, long time.

Congratulations, your dismissive and conclusory commentary has provided nothing to this discussion or the wider community on whose behalf you arrogantly presume to speak nor does it engage in any meaningful way the remark it lamely targets. But you did manage to gain experience points toward your next level of internet tough guy.
