Well, As the topic states, this is my take on building a Warlord Titan, though dedicated to Chaos, not the Imperium..

Anyhow, work started yesterday by cutting out the various shapes that later on would form the upper body of the Warlord.

In the beginning, there was an insulation foam plate and a kitten.

And the Chaos Gods sayeth; let the hull be blessed by a thousand sacrifices!

On the second day, the massive armoured behemoth rose on two massive CHICKEN legs!!

Did som more work on the upper body..

The Dominus Ex Ferrum standing on its armoured feet, standing 70cm./28" tall..

What will become the Princeps Chamber, buildt up in layers with detailed interior and Green Stuffed Face-Plate..

An update that has pictures dated BEFORE new years eve.. (haven't been very productive posting here, heh)

and some fluff for those who are interested;
Name: Animus Messor, Soul Reaper
First Sighting: Techtis IV
Titan Legion: Legio Mortis
Titan Crew: Princeps Senioris Vargus Arghator, Famulous Frederick, Moderati Dingus, Sensori Addie, Steersman Bob and Tech-Priest Theodor.
Armament: two carapace mounted apocalypse missile launchers, arm mounted gatlin blaster and volcano cannon.
History: The Animus Messor was first named the Dominus Ex Ferrum and fought for the imperium of man, but sided with the Warmaster Horus during the Heresy, and was renamed the Animus Messor after having destroyed several supporting beams of the Hive Merthur II on Techtis IV, sending the massive construction to oblivion. After the Heresy, the Animus Messor was sighted on several planets, even on Cadia, but those reports were not confirmed. As to this day, the Animus Messor continues to spread fear and terror across the Galaxy, carving a infamous reputation for itself like another infamous member of Legio Mortis, the Dies Irae.

Here we have the rear exhaust vents with a rhino roof hatch in the middle acting as temporary acces hatch to the (fictive) engineer deck and princeps chamber

One of the rear exhaust vents.. got to keep that plasma reactor at a acceptable temperature level..

Legs even a model would be jealous of.. complete with armour plates and warp-powered hydraulics.

Even a cable guy would go nuts if he had to do maintainence...

The first permanent GW product installed on the Warlord's rump as a gesture to Jervis Johnson.. no need to explain what I think of him, huh?

The infammous Mk. II "fishhead", since I got tired of the previous head..

The beginnings of a 80's Cylon/Darth Vader head.. only more daemonic...

awsome, but are you gonna coat it with something as I think it will flake off?

Listen, my children, as I pass onto you the truth behind Willy Wonka and his factory. For every wonka bar ever created in existance, Mr. Wonka sacraficed a single Oompa Loompa to the god of chocolate, Hearshys. Then, he drank the blood of the fallen orange men because he fed them a constant supply of sugary chocolate so they all became diabetic and had creamy, sweet-tasting blood that willy could put into each and every Wonka bar. That is the REAL story behind willy wonka's Slaughter House!

That looks great so far. Wish I'd been a bit more patient and made the effort to add hydraulics etc to the waist. Love the fish head too! Found that the hardest part of mine, ended up setteling for the hair gel tub! Keep up the good work

Ahh, actually, I'm going to glue two layers of card on the most dominant areas of the titan to get a layered armour plating, and those areas that I can't cover I'll try to paint on with some sealing-type of paint.. can't exactly explain it right now, but my fiancé has had three years of art-school, so she'll how to approach this matter..

The hydraulics were a pain in the arse.. numerous swears and a heapload of anger went into glueing all those cables to the legs..
