One of my relatives bought me a model plane ( it's a La-5 ) and since I don't do just models
any more, I decided to put it to good use.
It's 1:72 scale so it was too small for Ork use, but perfect for grechin.

So the idea is to create a squadron of 5 similar flying machines, piloted by grechin to use
in Apoc battles with this stats : BS 3, A 10 all round, Twin linked Big shoota and 3 small bombs ( str 4 )

Fly through rules or hover and attack? (Awesome paintjob!)

I guess it's going to be fly rules. Makes them last a bit
longer, but if other players don't agree hover is fine too.

It's just a bit of fun anyway.

That's the best kind of Apoc model. Something that has your enemy smiling even as you pop open his head.

you have to make a whole squad of them....and have ones with grot bombs attatched to the bottom! and have a fokker tri plane inspired one with a red baron esque grot inside! oh the possibilities!!!!!!!!!

I've just thought of a use for my old crappy painted spitfire model....

I'm currently working on one that has a grechin
tied to a bomb rack, holding onto a bomb. Should come out
nice.

What do you think of this stat line for them:
BS 3, Armor 10 all round, Twin linked big shoota, 3 small bombs ( small blast str4 AP 5 ), red paintjob
Speshul rule : Out of control
If they are immobilised or destroyed, they careen wildly ( scatter dice + 3D6 ) and make
a big blast str 8 AP3

It might look even more awesome if the squadron leader had a bi-plane wing on the top - think the red baron.

Here is the second one :

Squadron leader Nutzbit Halfnose. He's the only one who is going to have a jet powered machine ( because i broke the prop ).
This time it was an old Focke Wolf 190 A8 who got the chop for this conversion. I decided to stick with the paint job.
Anywho, here are the pics.

It's made from another FW-180A-1 with added upper wings, nutz , clevva gubbins and whatnots.

Here are two of my scratch built planes which i did yonks ago - but they need finishing off with more WAUGHH!
