So, this is my first major conversion attempt in a long time. Hopefully by making a blog out of it I will stay motivated to finish it. Here is the bike so far. The lance is a polish hussar lance from the Assault Group and was converted by taking a Tac squad bolt pistol hand, cutting off the bolt pistol and drilling a proper sized hole for the lance to slot in to. I plan on adding a guidon to it to represent the commander's personal heraldry. The sidecar is scratch built out of plasticard and the podium was built up to the proper level by slowly layering plasticard on the base until it was the same height as the base for the standard attack bike. I have an SM captain kit I'm going to start painting next. Still need to find the right weapons and shoulder pads for both. Pointers welcome, especially on making the pics better.
