I'm looking for a modern-looking plastic bridge for my 40K setup that can comfortable fit a Battlewagon or Landraider on it with a little room to spare. My buddy had one made by technix or tekna or techy-something... but we forget what the company was called now.

Anyone know where I can buy one? Figure something 6 inches wide will do the trick.

Pegasus makes one. It's wide enough to fit a Shadowsword.

That is an exellent bridge. Pegasus makes GREAT terrain. Usually pretty fairly priced as well.

My only complaints are that the type of plastic they use didn't want to hold glue very well. I found it better to score the area where it would be glued together before assembly.

I haven't painted mine, but I admit concern that the primer won't hold that well.

Gathering the Informations.

Their stuff takes primer* and glue just fine, provided you clean them thoroughly(which you should be doing either way) and aren't just trying to force it into place with CA superglue but using polystyrene cement.

*edited from "plastic" to "primer". Must type less fast.

There's a painted version of one in my gallery. It painted up just fine using a cheap spray primer and drybrushing. I also used straight up plastic cement and the terrain has held up fine.

Wow. Ya that techno bridge is awesome. Think I'll grab one of those. Heya Ozymandias, where did you get those river tiles in your gallery?

I don't have their technobridge, but I do have their gothic ruins, and their stuff is sturdy, and takes glue and paint very well.

What is this "washing" you speak of? As a gamer, I know no such term.

I love those things. As others have mentioned they take glue and paint just fine. I drybrushed mine with boltgun metal right over the grey plastic (gasp - without a base coat!) and it worked great. I didn't want to spend too much time on scenery vice models.

My favorite part is on the back of the box it explain that "it is wide enough to accomodate a Dirt Plunderer tank..." har har har!

I have both their Gothic ruins series and the bridge.
They take plastic cement and paint just fine - and I use runny poly cement, not gummy stuff.

@Holden88: Never noticed that bit. Wide enough for a baneblade, though.

I'm laughing because it is a bit of a joke not because its false advertising. The bridge will accomodate a land raider. Dirt Plunderer = Land Raider, get it.

See they knew that 40k players would be the most likely people intereseted in this kind of product so they...oh never mind.

Airfix make a 1:76 pontoon bridge (I payed £7.50)and Dapol make a 00 scale Girder Bridge(I payed £6.30).
They work great as foot bridges but need to be widened if you want to use them for tanks.
Just my 2 cents.

Top: Dapol Girder Bridge, Bottom: Airfix Pontoon Bridge
