That's a really good start, about the standard many people paint their armies for tabletop use even after several years. Are these really your first figures? If'd like to see what you're producing in a few years time!

Definately good work, you just have to decide what to do with the bases, because when they look nice it'll really set the figure off.

Thanks for the comments guys, its nice to know that my painting is on the right track

@Howard A Treesong - Yep, these are my first figures. I have only recently gotten into warhammer 40k. Back in Nov. of last year me and a buddy of mine both bought AOBR, he has the marines and I have the orks. As for the bases I have decided that for the near future they will remain black, cause I still haven't decided what type of terrain to make and even then I want to get my orks painted before I start making terrain and naturally I want the terrain to match the bases. So, for the time being they will stay black until I sort out what type of terrain to make.

Good job, excellent for a beginner. My only suggestion would be to finish the bases, but you'll get to that in due time. Good work!

Very nice indeed. Only thing I have to add is to at least drill the barrels on the Boss“s TL shoota.

Yes I agree, looking very cool.

If you want some constructive criticism I'd say that the green skin could do with a snot green highlight on the tops of all those muscles. Just a little spot on the raised parts to break up all the darker green.

However, they are very awesome for your first couple figs!
