This the finshed version. it has a plasma pistol grey knights nemisis force weapon blood crusher for a mount the then a marine biker for the body

My only comment is... FUR

It needs fur!

And im not so keen on the rhino horn... but mostly the fur.

are you using their backstory as renegade marines or actually space wolves? plenty of people said they might use the SW rules for their CSM so i had to ask. if so, it works. if it's loyalist SW, needs fur +1.

its a space wolves successor chapter that lives on a very hot molten like planet. they really dont have wolves so instead i used the bloodcrusher for a mount. and i thought it looked cooler then the canis model. and in the long haul its cheaper. but thank you for the suggestions

The Canis wolf is a SHOCKINGLY bad model - I can't believe they produced it. It doesn't even look like a wolf - maybe a cartoon one at the very most!

I like the idea of the successor chapter - and nice idea on the molten planet.

Have you seen the movie Outlander and the movie Chronicles of Riddick?

If not go watch them - it may give you a good idea for modding / painting your mount.

In both the creatures would glow red when they were about to attack. In Riddick the creatures are like molten rock wolves - just an idea that might give you some inspiration for your mounts.

Fur and/or lava-ish look would be nice, looks good otherwise.

Good Idea fluff-wise, but I feel as if the model isn't finished.


Biggest thing I see is the shiny metal, give at wash and it wiould look ace.

I think i mentioned this before but I would lose the "rhino" horn and extend the tail. Both of these would give it a more "lupine" appearance.

Otherwise I like it a lot, as it looks like somethign that a space marine could ride. Most f the TW I have seen done look comical with wolves that look too tiny for their rider. The concept of marines riding wolves is sort of a comical one, so the mount needs to be suitably impressive to pull it off, which i think this does...

yes ive see both. and i might go do a relook and possibly use that for the next one. and for people who keep saying. im not losing the horn, its not supposed to look like a wolf. its supposed to look like waht it is. and when i get washes ill use them.
