theyre not headlights, theyre "lazers" and if you look directly into them theyll burn your eyes out man!

They are 3v ultra bright leds. Each AA is 1.5v. therfore 4 is necessary i am currently working on one setup with a 9 volt and using some resistors. They way i wired this i can easily replace the old battery casing with a new one when i get the circuitry right.

Actually had those in mind. The housing for the battery is harder to get my hands on. I can pick up the others at a local r/c model shop. A scratch built housing is in the planning phase right now.

Sorry, just edited that with my source. Another good site with even smaller batteries is http://allelectronics.com/ - they actually might be better then the first URL's I dropped, come to think of it. I have gotten stuff from both and I think All Electronics might be a better one stop shop.

What I really want is a micro push button that's not momentary.

I know radio shack carries some puch buttons. I was going to make the round green disk on the side of my monolith as the main button using one.

Love it, it looks great. I was thinking of something similar with an Exorcist, but knock out the side panels and put in some 'stained glass' that way whenit lights up it will be like the inside of a cathedral. Good to see a guide I can use to figure out the lighting.

Now there's a sentence I never thought I'd hear. Still , can't quite see the point of it. Its just one step away from putting motors in them and driving them around by remote control. Excuse me I am a little drunk and miserable. All power to you ( whether its AAA or not ).

A drivable rhino. Now theres a tempting idea. No point other than i did it and it makes it stand out a little. And its completely and totally AWESOME!!!

lol thats exactly what i thought when i found it in the rc shop. I did have to knock out the monitor and bolter piece in the middle though.
