When I suddenly made a strange mix of this

And a Lasgun.

Really they look very similar. I'm laying off posting it here until I paint it. Any ideas if I could use it for something? It's already glued.

I still can't believe I actually thought this would look anything like a shotgun.

Do you have a picture? That might be handy.

Oh what the hell... Ok.

Amazingly it looks even more hideous in the picture

The sculpt is rather rough but it seemed rather unique so I thought I might as well ask.

If you're going for a shotgun, try lopping off the lasgun tip a bit. That slanted piece is pretty well known and recognizable as a lasgun, so cutting it off would help. And it needs a slide... for the ammo drum, how about an autocannon drum? that would be sweet.

I've also been thinking: Is there an easy way to get the tips of a multi-laser? You know, that cilinder that usually tops every laser gun in the imperium?

With a wee bit of work and one of those maybe I can replicate this: http://world.guns.ru/shotgun/jackhammer.jpg

Jackhammer, that's exactly what I thought of when I've seen the picture!

I say go for it!

Also, cylindric slugga clips from AOBR nobz might come handy?

Multilaser tip would be way too big for a shotgun conversion. You'd be better off going with some styrene or brass tubing and cut it at an angle to get what you want.
