What are you trying to do? What do you want to convert? How big of a project do yo uwant?

You could start simple, like reposing genestealers, and eventually moving on to larger, or even metal models.

hmm yeah depending on your skill, you could try and repose a trygon perhaps? you know so its not in the classic raar im standing pose.

or maybe you could build a scatchbuilt boneswords...

Or you could maybe scratchbuild a nive doom of malantai

OR a deathleaper conversion...everyone likes ninja lictor poses.

Well, an idea that just occurred to me related to my desire to have Warriors with boneswords and lashwhips. The chaos spawn plastic boxed set comes with lots of tentacles that would work perfectly, plus lots of strange projections that also just might work for boneswords with a little work. I know that chapterhouse studios is working on some in metal, but I dislike working with metal miniatures. I hope that helps.

Well, with the new codex out I suggest that you make a tervigon:

You will need two Carnifex (or Trygon) bodies, six pairs of scything talons, and some greenstuff. You take the bodies and put all of them together by using a knife and greentuff to fill the gaps, it will work. I suggest you use the Thornbanks on the Carnifex torso, it will show the weaponlessness of it.

Hope it helps, its a basic conversion, but it will work. I have seen people take Tyranid Warriors and make them Tyranid Primes using lash whips and Boneswords fromt he Tyrant frame, too.
