These are all works in progress, but I wanted to know what people think about the Nob squad I have been making for my blood axe army. Sorry for the poor quality, I only had my Iphone handy. Hope you like them

I like! Are they mega nobz? If not I think their base size is a size to big!

yeah, that is what I am hearing. It is really annoying that they are mandating base sizes nowadays. The ork nob models are plenty big for the base size to be justified in my opinion. I might tear them off the bases, but that will really tick me off. The warboss is from an inquisitor model.

Oh no no... Im not saying you NEED to go and change base size... hell, I have plenty of models with bases bigger than what they should be, I was just curious as to if they were mega nobz or not.

Here's the question you need to ask. Are you going to use these in an "official" GW tournament? If yes, then rebase. Otherwise do what you want providing your pool of opponents aren't total tits.

I got Blood Axe nobs myself, and these look very nice. Between mine and yours, the hats make all the difference XD

Theres a website that makes them. I cant remember the name to save me though. Just google search Orc heads with hats. Yes I meant the C in Orc

From all the tournament rules I have read none mention having the minimal size base for the miniatures, I'va read Ard Boyz, Grand Tournament 2008 and Throne of Skulls rules.
So I really do not see an issue with his bases and I agree that these bases seem better fitted.

Thank you for the great feedback. The las model is my warboss based off an inquisitor model.

Indeed the heads are from micro art studios. For the gamesday nob I cut up one of the heads and grafted the hat onto him.

My other problem with the smaller bases is my one nob that is smoking can't stand up with a small base due to the large metal gun he is holding. I guess I could weight down the base...
