Very nice. I especially like the captains base. But shouldn't the flesh be black?

They look awesome, great photography too. You make me want to start a salamanders army.

Do you play 30k? It'd be a lot cooler if you did.

GW's "midnight black" skin tone for Salamanders isn't easy to paint and have it look good.

I think this skin tone fits the bill perfectly!

Nicely done!

Wvlopp: I hate the black skin - this army was started six years ago before they went black! Thanks about the base.

rockabill-gr: Thanks is snot green with a snot green and bleached bone highlight.

Crablezworth - Thanks, Im a photographer so I should have no excuses for poor photos

Very nice, but the flames, apart from those on the DP, are the wrong way round.

there are two schools of thought on flames! I have both in my army depending on what i feel is better for the model!

I agree there.
I prefer the IA fluff of "carribian stock" population skin tone. Looks better painted.

Cool, you simply must give me some hints since I totally suck at taking pics.
If you pick one from my gallery and tell me some quick things on how I could improve I would be grateful.

I would say that the main way to improve your images is just the focus, they are all a bit "soft" Try to use a macro setting or crop in tighter later. Also a pain background is good. Your lighting is fine.

On the whole they are better than most ive seen on here!

They look great m8, nice overall effect as well.

Glad you started before the silly midnight black skin fluff change they made in the new codex. In my opinion Salamanders done how the new fluff says would look wrong. Wish GW would stop changing established fluff, with their Defluffer2010 .

Lovely. I hate the black skin so it's nice to see actual flesh tones.

Yes, jet black skin was a truly daft idea as it's really difficult to paint on a small scale and make it look good. Army looks great anyway.
