Ok ive been working on this army for some time now, with a break to do my eldar.

there are two schools of thought on flames! I have both in my army depending on what i feel is better for the model!

I prefer the IA fluff of "carribian stock" population skin tone. Looks better painted.

If you pick one from my gallery and tell me some quick things on how I could improve I would be grateful.

I would say that the main way to improve your images is just the focus, they are all a bit "soft" Try to use a macro setting or crop in tighter later. Also a pain background is good. Your lighting is fine.

On the whole they are better than most ive seen on here!

Glad you started before the silly midnight black skin fluff change they made in the new codex. In my opinion Salamanders done how the new fluff says would look wrong. Wish GW would stop changing established fluff, with their Defluffer2010 .

These guys are great. Very clean and crips. And the flames look just fine the way they are!

Yes, jet black skin was a truly daft idea as it's really difficult to paint on a small scale and make it look good. Army looks great anyway.
