does it count as a normal carnifex in tyranid armies?

I would not know. If I had the money and the time. I thought of making a entire tech Tyranid army.

I'm pretty sure it's a Deff Dred that the Orks must have made to look like a Fex.

My recomendation would be to avoid "Mecha Nids" fluff wise it just makes no sense. However, an Ork army composed of veterans of wars against Tyranids would be cool. You could have losts of Nid-inspired Ork vehicles and trophies.

I really like it. Can tell exactly what it is as soon as you look at it. As far as making it more nid like how about an enormous 2 tusked metal jaw remenicent of the (in my opinion) orky fex head?

Yup, some tusks would certainly help. I think the exhausts on his back could do with some beefing up, as well.

A samshy tail might be a good idea also posing the guns so their held as one venom cannon styled weapon held in the middle might help.

If you want to make an army of these just make an army of deff dreds and count them as a nid MC army. It could be a real big meks army.

I would add arms touching the ground becuase it looks like it would tip forward.

Are the tusks to much

Stick as much as you want on it, the more spikey bits the better!

They're not too much, but you might want to reposition them a little bit. My 1st thought was bull horns when I saw it... Anyway that deff dred is pretty sweet.
(Sidenote: If that other model's a trukk, you should mount it on a square base.)

I like where this is going.

The Dread looks awesome. I like the tusks on it too. It kinda has a boar feel to it.

The trukk...now thats a little different. I like it but it looks more fowlish then the last dread I did.

Keep it coming. I love different looking stuff and you my friend are own your way to a cool looking group of bugs...mechs...orks...whatever... you know what they are.
