Ok we all know what mold lines are, but do we all know what shift lines are in molds??
A Shift line is like a mold line but it cant not be fixed by cutting or sanding... it has to be filled in to the height of the other side....(99 percent of the time its caught by QA but , i was lucky enough to get a model with a very slight shift line... Im going too get people telling me its mold line no its shift line( im a experience caster and mold maker) I know what im talking about.
What causes shift line, applying enough pressure to the mold while using it, or the mold wasnt alined together.
But the only way to fix it is to green stuff it in or blend it with green stuff to the propper height.
