but you may want to put something a little more intresting on the base.

Nice paintjob! I really like it. But i would hardly consider it jazzed up because you put a couple purity seals, a search light and a do-dad on it, unless yer being sarcastic. Otherwise.... this is a Jazzed up AoBR dread...... Jazzed Up!

By the way, the Venerable Dread you did in yoru gallery kicks ass!

I didn't know jazzed up was a technical term.

I think its well done. Subtle, doesn't go overboard. For adding a few details without trying to pass it off as a Ven Dread, you've done well.

Yeah, clearly you need to be careful with "Jazzed up."
Perhaps I should have said Easy Listeninged or Adult Contemporaryed.

I think the base is fine. Add a few clumps of static grass, and call the job a good'un.

The few small touches to the dread help make it a little less cookie-cutter, and the paintjob is solid. Nice effort.

maybe smaller rocks to integrate the texture from the sprue pieces into the flat earth.

Yeah, sorry about the flippant slap in the face, I was just excited to see a creative conversion with promises of "jazzed up" but instead it was a couple purity seals. But once again I know you know how to model, I checked out yoru gallery and the Venerable Dread you did in there was beautiful! The use of the chopped up Termie head and body for the sarcophogus was great and I urge other to go check it out.

It does. I think I am going to rebase Hotspur on the weekend on some cork and rocks. Toss in a few bits and bob's you're uncle.
