The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.

The Open Day sounds pretty fun, if only I could get down to Nottingham

It'll be interesting to see the new site/models too.

New website bit was what also cheered me up.

I wonder if their website will be absorbed into the main GW site?

I was wondering if the new site might perhaps be a step towards the unveiling of the long anticipated FW fantasy stuff perhaps ?

@ reds8n I would agree that's the most likely the reason why they would do such a thing.

Me too, their current website looks like something from the 90's. Their sales would definitely increase if their website looked more professional.

I did mean not going because of something serious like a family member getting ill. So unless Tzeentch plays his part, I should be going.

A new website? Really now, after a decade or more of the same thing it's good news. Now if only BL would hurry up already.

Hypothetically if there were Chaos Dwarf models already sculpted, but they were not ready to sell them until later in the year, I doubt they would want to show them.

Talk about them yes, display them unlikely imo.

Anyone who goes to this make sure to ask them about Chaos Dwarfs!

A few rumours for you since I'm feeling in a good mood.

The new Eldar Super Heavy is done and is ready to be cast
Eldar will appear in IA9
Eldar Titan will make appearence
FW are doing Webway gate terrain
FW are doing a Eldar landing pad
HL Valkyrie is to be released on Open Day, along with a few suprises(Ahem big Ork., SM ...(Now that would be spoiling it! )

An Eldar Titan, eh? Since they have no other models, that'd automatically mean a Phantom chassis, but didn't the other FW rumor thread rule that ouy? Would be interesting nonetheless, and the webway gate angle would make the Eldar's presence in the Ork vs Imperial conflict feasible.

Well you never know with forgeworl.

I have been to the previous open days and they realy do change their minds regularly.

At FW open day 2 (When the Reaver was unveiled) Warwick discussed with me that he wanted to do the Phantom next and was very excited about it, but that it would be 2 years away as the large stuff like this takes up a long time to plan and build and taking up one persons complete time means they need to space the stuff out so that they can produce a higher quantity of models to meet the emand of range they receive.

At FW open day 3 (Chaos Reaver WIP unveiled) I was excited to ask Warwick for updates on said Phantom, only to be sorely let down when his response implied the phantom had been put back further in their plans. So basically a year had past and the titan was going to be further away. Tony chimed in at this point and said that they woul be producing the Warlord Imperial Titan first and that this would be two years away, meaning that the Phantom would be about 4 years away. This made me very sa indeed.

That would mean that their plans last year were to make the Phantom in 3 years time (from now) so maybe Christmas 21012 but more likely early 2013 to be unveiled at that FW open day.

They change their minds all of the time, so I would be very happy to see the Phantom to have been put back to it's original release ate from back to FW open day 2, but it does seem strange for this to be true.

Either way, they seem to unveil a new Titan every year now so I would be dead happy to place my order on the day to receive one of the first ones. I have 2 revenant titans just waiting for their big sister. And if the Warlord just happened to make an appearance, my Reaver would certainly like the support too.

FW open day is certainly one of my favourite days of the year and the earlier date this year should mean one of our freinds who couldn't attend last year should get to go. That will certainly make him a very happy man indeed!

I seem to recall Forge World commenting that Chaos Dwarves were something on their short list for the Fantasy line. I would not be in the least bit surprised to see some this year.

The new website news is fantastic. Maybe they'll look like a 21st century operation, and also spell Quartermaster correctly this time.

I just wish the old Epic Tau infantry models were still available from FW. I want to run a Cadre based on IA3...

Meh, I like their website the way it is, it works, I can find what I want easily and it looks decent. It doesn't need any excess razzle dazzle.

Am looking forward to seeing what new products they have though, more orks? Yes please!
