I would pick out some details like the eyes and tongue, but I do like your mottled carapaces.

That's a nice colour scheme, especially with the slimy look gained from the 'Ardcoat, although I agree with Flashman, there are still some details like the eyes, tongues and teeth that need to be picked out.

Personal preference, but I don't like shiny Tyranids. Carapace is dusty and ground down from lasgun fire and wear and tear, IMHO.

i added 'Ardcoat' to their carapace to get a new-born feeling to them, as if they are the latest edition to the swarm.

Cool, like from a tervigon or something. You could add some slime trails on the bases or something. Good idea, but I wouldn't use it myself. Also I neglected to say that the painting's great overall in my last post, too.

thanks, i tried the slime idea with my friends tervigon, went pretty well actually, it because i have this glue, it looks exactly like tree sap when it drys up, so ill probably use some on my carnifex and hive tyrant
