Hey all, as I said i've got some army lists, at different point values, and i'm trying to decide if they're any good.
So, without further ado,
List 1: 1000 pts.

Rune priest, chooser of the slain, runic armor, wolftooth necklace. -140

Grey hunters (10): 2 Melta, MOTW, wolf standard -180

Grey hunters (10): Same as above, but with 2 flamers. 175

Vindicator, extra armor, siege shield. -140

Wolf guard (3): 3 combi meltas, 3 PFs -129

Scouts (5) Meltagun -85

Dreadnought, mulitmelta, HF, droppod -150

Total: 999

So far (3 games) has worked very well, but I've been unlucky with Behind enemy lines rolls with scouts.

List 2: 1850 pts

Ragnar 240

8 Grey hunters, melta, PF, MOTW, standard, rhino 210

9 Grey hunters, same 225

9 grey hunters, same 225

15 BC, 2 flamers, powerfist, lucas 390

6 longfangs, rocket launchers, Razorback w/ TLLC 205

Dreadnought w/ droppod, multi, HF 150

4 Wolfguard, PF, Combi meltas - 172

Total: 1827

I've only played a couple of games so far at low points costs, but my Lone Wolves are the current stars of the show. They soak up a lot of firepower for low points and you want them to die... LOVE IT

Your first list is pretty well balanced and pretty nasty for 1000 Points.

Your second list needs a little tweaking:

1) Get rid of Lucas as he is more of a danger to your troops than even your opponent. For that matter you should drop the Blood Claws all together and replace them with a Land Raider variant (I prefer the Crusader).

2) From the above, I would drop the Rhino for the 8 man Grey Hunter unit, fill them up to 10 men and max out your weaponry. Then, stick Ragnar, a Wolf Guard and the Grey Hunters in the Land Raider.

3) Next, with the large amounts of points left over from these changes you could do one of many things:

a) Add some Vindicators (I love them 2x Vindicators is like a Royal with Cheese).
b) Add some more Long Fangs (Always a safe bet)
c) Add in some more scoring units (A Grey Hunter pack should do the trick)

From here you can flavor the list however you like. My main reasoning for dropping the Blood Claws is that as a unit they are only good if they have a Wolf Priest leading them. Even then, if they are walking, they are inviting Plasma Cannon/ Demolisher fire, especially with Lukas tagging along.

List 3: Loganwing (Yeah, seems like everyone's got one now, but i''ve seen so many good ones that I dug around for my missing, half complete army list and finished it off!)

WG squad 3 (5 man) come here, infantry!
7 lightning claws, 2 combi flamers, HF, droppod(deathwind). -280

HF, 2 PF, 3 combi weapons, Droppod- 240

Total: 1497
If I had more points, I'd go for a dreadnouht or lone wolves.

One of the better Lone wolves I came up with is Simple.
Lone Wolf

-Storm Shield
-2 Wolves
Cheep and efective
I normaly run them in a Pair

As a big fan of the Space Wolf books, I honestly think putting MOTW in a squad is wrong, the Wolves don't want a brother who can go insane with blood rage in tow. But for Lone Wolf it kinda makes sense.

But I'm a big fan of making my armies fluffy rather than competative.

But if you take them to the groomers they will be fluffy, just like Canis

List 1 your 1st Grey Hunters should be 205 points and your 2nd squad should be 200.
