So I've recently found myself in possession of 6th ed Daemonettes. I was originally intending to make them into Harpies via Gargoyle wings but I like them much more than the current Witch models. I also ordered the Raging Heroes command set and they fit splendidly into a Slaanesh theme.

Then the idea struck, bring back ye olde Cult of Slaanesh!

Daemonettes instead of Witches.

This creature clearly warped by Chaos magics as my Sorceress on a Pegasus.

My Cauldron of Blood will not have a statue of Khaine, but a huge self-indulgent statue of the army's general! Made by a 54mm version of the model Dark Elf head, twisted vine sword and shield and tossing in standard Cauldron of Blood bits.

Between the massive statue and naked twins for a BSB I think it might give Sigvald a run on the vanity and depravity scale.

Army list is here: Cauldron/Magic DE 2250

For those that don't want to look, basically as follows:
Lv.4 Sorceress on Pegasus
Lv.2 Sorceress on Horse
Cauldron of Blood BSB
Warriors
Harpies
Dark Riders
Cold One Knights
Black Guard
Witches (Daemonettes)
War Hydra
Reaper Bolt Throwers

What do you think so far? Any ideas how to mock up the rest of the army to fit the theme? Plenty of Slaanesh symbols on Warrior's Shields, not sure what else.

I like that idea. I am looking forward to seeing it done. How about getting the old slaanesh seekers as dark riders or cold one knights? Problem is they don't have any armor. but I guess that is the point. You could use the old GW dark eldar prisoner models too. I think it was reaper that had a model that was strung up like it was cooking over a fire, maybe you could use it as bait for your hydra. Not sure how you can spice up the black guard or warriors though.

dwarfs, wood elves, dark elves, bretonnians, WOC,
space wolves, orks, eldar

Use Chaos warriors with slaaneshi paintscheme and dark elf plastic bits for the Black Guard and enthralled marauders as warriors. The original CoS was a mixed bag of DE and WoC.

Those raging heroes models would fit nicely in your army. good luck.

Well, I already have Dark Rider minis that I put a fair amount of time/money/effort into making and don't quite care to make more. However, I was definitely thinking about picking up a seeker's mount for the steed-mounted Sorceress. I'd be even more likely to do so if I could find a good casty-type mini to mount on it. If the boob-snake could fit on a standard cavalry base that would be even better and easier to get a hold of...

I really like this idea, but I already own my DE Warriors.

Warriors for Black Guard could be pretty cool. Converting them to Halberds using the direct GW bits wouldn't save me any money compared to buying the Black Guard, but would add a nice touch. Regarding the paint scheme, I was probably going to avoid standard pink and purples. Slaanesh seems to like contrast and rich colors, to quote the 'Tome of Corruption' from the WFB RPG:

Slaanesh's sacred colours are pastels and electric shades, particularly azure, pink, ruby red and emerald green, often put together in a garish and contrasting manner.

I was thinking ruby or emerald and maybe some deep blue armor/weaponry and pastel contrasted skin tones.

I'd like a little help and feedback regarding my big statue. I've been thinking about doing it up as a marble statue, rather than the standard large painted figure. What do you think? I was thinking I could leave the white marble color for the skin and hair areas, maybe the armor as well and just do the minor details and filigree in the armor as goldleaf-style highlights and the flowing sleeves to be a shiny tone as if the statue actually had great lengths of silk billowing from it in battle.
